How duties and taxes appear on your order summary will depend on the destination of your order.

For some countries, duties and taxes are included in the price of the merchandise – you don’t pay for them separately. You will not see a separate line for duties and taxes at checkout, and you will not be asked to pay extra upon delivery.

For other countries, duties and taxes are a separate line in your order summary. Again, these charges will be paid when you place your order. You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery.

Finally, a few countries have the option to prepay duties and taxes at checkout or upon delivery.

It’s complicated. Duties and taxes are calculated based on the items you order and vary according to where they were made, your shipping destination and the value of your purchase. It may include sales tax applied to purchases from the US and any processing fees assessed by your country.

If duties and taxes are included in the product price, you will receive a full refund for both the merchandise and the duties and taxes. Duties and taxes that are paid as a separate charge at checkout are non-refundable. Only the recipient of the order may claim these fees from their local customs authority.

The following countries have duties and taxes as a separate line in your order, which you will see at checkout. Since these duties are pre-paid, you will never be asked to pay additional fees upon delivery.

The following countries may have local taxes, duties or customs clearance fees upon delivery. Uniform Advantage cannot guarantee the cost of duties and taxes.

Supported payment methods for your country will be displayed at checkout.

If you used a credit or debit card, this is called a “pre-authorization hold.” It is a temporary electronic authorization that will be replaced by the actual charge to your card when your order ships. If you did not complete your order, the authorization will drop off according to the policies of your credit card or bank – usually within 2-10 business days. For information on these policies, please contact your bank or credit card company.

When you select the country the order will be shipped to, the currency for that country will be displayed automatically. Uniform Advantage is not responsible for any currency exchange fees charged by your bank or credit card.

Yes – as long as the new address is in the same country as the original for the order.

In addition, DHL Express offers On Demand Delivery. You may use this to update the shipping address (within the same country), email or phone number. You may also add delivery instructions. To do this, please visit DHL On Demand Delivery.

Most international orders (of in-stock, non-embroidered items) ship within 24 hours. Embroidered items require an additional 3 to 4 Days of processing time.

Once your order ships, we estimate a shipping time of 3-8 business days. This may vary, depending on the destination country. International orders are shipped via DHL Express.

We ship international orders by DHL Express shipping – and the cost depends on weight and the destination country. The price to ship your order will be displayed at checkout and will include all charges.

Sorry – but we are unable to ship to international PO boxes. If you entered a PO box as your address, we will reach out to get a street address for delivery. Please be aware that this may delay your order.

Yes – but you must place your order through our US website.

Unfortunately, once an international order is placed, it cannot be modified. 

We are unable to make changes to billing details after the order is placed. We do this to protect the security of your finances and identity.

No. We are required by law to indicate full and accurate details of your order including prices. This applies to all commercial invoices and documents.

If you need to cancel an order, contact our customer service team as quickly as possible. But please be advised that once place an order, we may be unable to cancel it if your order is already processing.

Please check your email for a notification from us regarding why your order was cancelled.

We’re sorry, but we cannot exchange an international gift order – or refund the purchase to anyone other than the original purchaser. Please contact our customer service team for assistance.

Original shipping charges are not refunded. If you use the prepaid return label, The cost for using the prepaid return label will be deducted from the amount of the credit you receive for your refund.

We do not offer exchanges on orders shipped outside of the United States at this time. If you’d like to order a different item or need a different size, please return the original item here and place another order for the new item(s).

We process all returns within 3 business days of receiving them. It may take another 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to post your refund. You will receive an email notification once we have processed your refund.

Some products have limitations on where their products may be shipped. These restrictions are out of our control. This includes: (1) Stethoscopes, New Balance, Dickies, medical equipment, watches, glasses, blades, and jewelry merchandise may not be shipped outside of the United States. (2) Tooniforms merchandise cannot be shipped to South America. (3) Footwear made in China cannot be shipped to Mexico.

Below is a list of countries that have monetary thresholds preventing orders from shipping internationally. These restrictions are out of our control.
